Why you'll hear two voices

Sally Says uses two voices — Charlotte for whole words and Molly for syllables and individual sounds. Each voice is the best fit for what it's saying, and hearing a bit of variety also helps children tune their ear to how speech sounds across different speakers.

Home practice tips

  • • Listen to the sound a few times before trying yourself
  • • Say each word slowly and clearly
  • • Keep sessions short — 5 to 10 minutes is plenty
  • • Celebrate every attempt, not just perfect sounds
