Practice tools to share with families
Sally Says is a free set of practice tools you can send to families: games, speech-sound audio and printable worksheets. It doesn't replace your therapy. It helps the practice happen between visits.
What you can use today
- 41 games across listening, sound contrasts, phonological awareness, articulation (sound to conversation) and fluency.
- 50 sounds and blends (e.g. S, SH, SP, STR), each with example words and audio.
- Printable worksheets by sound, age and level.
- No logins for families. Send a link; it works on a phone.
Built the way you'd build it
- Chosen by sound. Words are chosen for the sound children hear (“cow” is a /k/ word), not the spelling.
- Levels in order: listening, sounds, syllables, words, phrases, sentences, conversation.
- One clear voice per job: one voice for whole words, another (Molly) for single sounds and syllables, so each is said the same way every time.
- Designed with input from a registered New Zealand speech-language therapist.
How to set home practice
- Open Games and pick the sound.
- Pick a game and copy its link.
- Send the link to the family. They choose the level (listening, words, phrases…) on the game's start screen.
